OTA Builder

Everything your travel booking website does

Your OTA Builder site sells flights, hotels and activities under your own name, colors and domain. This page lists what you get, group by group.

Updated September 15, 2026

OTA Builder is a travel booking website builder that creates a complete booking site for flights, hotels and activities under your own brand. Building the site, running it and selling on it are free, and one optional bundle costs $99 per year.

The groups below follow the order a customer meets them: your brand first, then the three things your site sells, then the selling side, then what the free plan and the bundle cover. If you want the order of operations instead, read how OTA Builder works.

Your brand

Every OTA Builder site carries your name, not OTA Builder's. You choose the brand name, the colors and the web address, and you can change your name and colors at any time.

Your name and colors

You pick your brand name and your colors when you create the site, and the whole site follows them. You can change both later, as often as you want.

Your own domain

You can connect your own domain on the free plan. A free domain of your choice is also part of the $99 per year bundle.

A free address to start with

Every site gets a free subdomain on ota-sites.com, for example sunway-travel.ota-sites.com. That address works as soon as your site is live, so you can start sharing before you decide on a domain.

Languages and currencies

The customer-facing side of your site runs in multiple languages and currencies. A visitor reads your pages and sees prices in a form that suits them.

No coding

OTA Builder needs no code and no technical team. The search, the booking engine and the checkout are already built, so your part is choosing a name, colors and markup.

Flights

Your site searches flights from 1,000+ airlines and sells ordinary airline e-tickets. Customers search, filter and pay without leaving your brand.

One way, return and multi city

Flight search covers one way, return and multi city trips. A multi city search lets a customer build a trip out of several separate legs at once.

Results in seconds

Results start arriving within seconds of a search. Customers watch offers appear instead of waiting in front of an empty page.

A price calendar

The price calendar shows the lowest fare found for each day. Customers whose dates can move see which days come out lower before they pick one.

Duplicates removed

Duplicate offers are removed from the result list. Customers compare real alternatives instead of the same flight repeated four times.

Filters on every leg

Customers filter results by airline, by number of stops and by departure time, on each leg of the trip. A return or multi city search keeps its own filters for every leg.

Refund and change rules in the results

Where the source provides them, refund and change rules appear in the results. A customer can see how strict a fare is before choosing it, not after paying.

A live fare hold countdown

Each flight offer carries a live countdown of how long that fare is held. The fare hold countdown means nobody has to guess how much time is left.

Ordinary airline e-tickets

Tickets sold on your site are ordinary airline e-tickets. The PNR is in the passenger's own name, and the passenger can check it on the airline's own website.

How tickets are issued

Tickets are issued through OTA Builder's ticketing partner and follow each fare's rules. You do not need your own airline contracts, and there is more on that in do you need IATA accreditation or a license to sell flights online.

Hotels

Your site sells 5,000,000+ hotels and properties. Customers search, compare rooms and pay on your site, then receive a voucher by email.

Search a city or one property

A customer can search a whole city or go straight to a single property. Both searches end in the same booking flow.

Rooms described in full

Each room shows its size, the bed types and photos. Customers pick a room on what it actually is rather than on the name alone.

Full property policies

Your hotel pages show the full property policies: the check in window, children, pets, meals and deposits. The awkward questions are answered before the customer pays, not by you over chat afterwards.

Hotel voucher by email

After booking, the customer receives a hotel voucher by email carrying your site's name. There is a walkthrough in how to add hotel booking to your travel website.

Activities

Your site sells 2,500+ activities. Customers search by destination, choose a ticket type and get a voucher by email.

Search by destination

Customers find activities by destination, the same way they search flights and hotels. Activities sit in the same site and the same checkout.

Ticket types by age

Each activity lists its ticket types by age. A family picks the right mix of tickets themselves instead of writing to ask you.

Voucher by email

Activity bookings send a voucher by email after payment. Your customer carries it to the door.

Supply, not your own tours

Activities come from OTA Builder's supply. OTA Builder does not host tours you run yourself, which is covered in selling tours, activities and attraction tickets online and on the comparison page.

Selling and payments

Your customers book and pay online on your own website, and they receive tickets and vouchers by email. You add your own markup on top of the prices shown and you keep it.

Checkout on your own site

Customers finish the booking and pay at your own checkout. Nobody is handed to another brand to complete the purchase.

Your markup, kept by you

You set your own markup on top of the prices your site shows, and the markup is yours. The full mechanics are in how travel agencies make money on flights, hotels and activities.

A markup for each product type

Markup can be set separately for flights, for hotels and for activities. You can be careful on flights and bolder on activities, or the other way around.

Tickets and vouchers by email

After a customer pays, the tickets and vouchers go out by email. Your site's name is on them.

Your bookings in one place

Your account shows your markup settings and your bookings. That is where you check what sold and change what you add.

Free and the bundle

Building your site, running it and selling on it are free. One optional bundle costs $99 per year.

What the free plan includes

The free plan includes the website, the booking engine, selling, your brand and colors, your own markup, a free subdomain on ota-sites.com, and the help center and guides. You can also use your own domain on the free plan.

A free site carries a small Built with OTA Builder line in the site footer. It is one line, at the bottom.

The $99 per year bundle

The bundle costs $99 per year and adds a free domain of your choice, removal of the Built with OTA Builder line, and premium support. Everything else is already in the free plan, and the details sit on the pricing page.

If the bundle is not renewed

If you do not renew the bundle, your site stays online on the free plan. The domain and premium support end with the bundle.

Bundle refund

The bundle can be refunded within 14 days if no domain has been registered. Once a domain is registered, domain fees are not refundable.

Support and replies

Contact replies come within two working days, and bundle holders get premium support. New to all of this? Start with how to start an online travel agency for free or open your site.
